Workshop

A workshop was held for 15 students specializing in construction trades at Bodø¸ Upper Secondary School. Following a tour of the exhibition Strategies in Concrete, the students were asked to investigate how concrete construction elements from the current airport could have a new life. The students worked in groups to make drawings and models and their suggestions included skateboarding ramps, a diving tower and ‘huts for thinking’. The workshop took place in NOUA’s exhibition space and was a collaboration between Bodø¸ Municipality, NOUA and NODA (the Northern Norway Design and Architecture Centre). The workshop was led by the architects Stian Rossi (Saferock), Kjersti Monsen (NODA) and Hanna Landfald Hanssen (Bodø¸ Municipality).
