Kunstkanten is an outdoor exhibition arena along the coastal path between Bodøsjøen and Mørkvedbukta. In addition to experiencing the coastal landscape, the seasons and the weather, walkers along this path will now also experience art. In 2024–2026, Kunstkanten will display five sculptures. The sculptures will encourage walkers to reflect on and discuss issues surrounding urban development and local identity as the town begins a process of change and renewal. Bodø’s town borders will be redrawn once again. The landscape will be transformed. Areas of natural landscape will be lost, while new neighbourhoods and environments will emerge.

The Association of Norwegian Sculptors has curated the exhibition, which is funded by Bodø2024. The Kunstkanten exhibition arena is owned by Bodø Municipality. For further information, please see here.
